Commercial project: St James' Square
As a professional commercial painting and decorating contractor, we’re used to working on large projects, and consistently deliver on time and to budget. When an extensive external redecoration project was required at the head office of investment banking firm RP&C International, our-dedicated team delivered.
Located in St James’ Square in the City of Westminster. We were tasked with working on one of the wonderful Georgian buildings there. The job included repainting the whole exterior of the building, including windows and doors and railings. All woodwork was prepared and sanded back before painting begun, cracks and imperfections were caulked and filled. We finished the woodwork with Johnstone’s Professional Gloss which is hardwearing. Railings were cleaned up, treated for rust and any bare metal treated with a rust-inhibitive primer before being hand-painted with Hammerite paint. All exterior walls were cleaned, any damage was treated and filled with Toupret filler, before being sealed and primed and ready for painting.
The job took 4 weeks which was tough going in London’s cold and wet winter.
